I've been around this industry a while. I cut my teeth installing NBN fixed wireless and satellite from 2016 to 2018 — everywhere from Arthur River on the far west coast to Scottsdale past Launceston — so I know Tasmanian connectivity, and the reality of getting people online out in the bush. Since then I've run kilometres of Cat6a and internal fibre (GPON) on a major structured-cabling project across multi-office sites in Australia and overseas, designed and installed big PA systems for conventions, and handled live-streaming and hybrid setups for meetings and weddings.
These days I bring all of that home to the North-West coast, with a real focus on CCTV and security, networking and cabling done properly. I trained in IT media and design (Cert II, TasTAFE), and I still geek out over the gear — but what I care about most is a tidy, honest job you can rely on.
I keep it to one thing: quality gear, installed properly, that you own outright. No monthly fees, nothing parked in someone else's cloud, and one person to call if it ever needs a look.
