Security Alarms
A visible alarm is one of the best deterrents going — most break-ins are quick and opportunistic, and a loud siren with a flashing strobe ends them fast. I supply and install alarm systems for homes and businesses. I don't do back-to-base monitoring or lock-in contracts — depending on the system, you can get alerts straight to your phone, or keep it simple with an on-site siren and strobe.
What's involved
How I do security alarms.
- Alarm panel, sensors and siren supplied and installed
- A loud siren and flashing strobe — a clear deterrent
- Optional alerts to your phone, depending on the system — no monitoring company, no contract
- Battery backup so the system stays up in an outage
- Existing panels serviced, re-coded or upgraded where it makes sense

Before you call
Security Alarms questions.
Does an alarm still help if no one’s monitoring it?
Definitely. Most break-ins are quick and opportunistic, and a loud siren with a flashing strobe is usually enough to send someone off before they get anywhere — a visible alarm does most of its work as a deterrent, before it's ever triggered.
Can it let me know when it goes off?
Depending on the system, yes — some can send an alert straight to your phone through their own app. There's no monitoring company in the middle and no monthly fee; it's just you getting notified.
Will it still work in a blackout?
Yes — I fit battery backup so the alarm keeps doing its job through a power cut.
