Data Cabling & Networking
Structured data cabling, fibre and networks that stay reliable under load — for offices, new builds and commercial sites that need a proper wired backbone, not a bird’s nest behind the cabinet.
What's involved
How I do data cabling & networking.
- Cat6 / structured cabling run, terminated and tested to AS/CA S009
- Fibre optic cabling and splicing
- Data points where you need them, cabinet or rack tidied and labelled
- Switches, routers and access points set up
- Point-to-point wireless links between buildings where trenching isn’t practical
- A compliance certificate issued for the cabling work
Where I work
Data Cabling & Networking across the North-West.
Based in Burnie and on the road across the coast. These towns have their own local page:
Before you call
Data Cabling & Networking questions.
Are you registered to do the cabling?
Yes — I hold ACMA Open cabler registration (ID# 27466) with structured cabling, coaxial and fibre endorsements, and I work to the AS/CA S009 wiring rules with a compliance certificate issued for the job. That registration is what separates a compliant installer from an unregistered one.
Can you link a shed or second building?
Yes. Where trenching through heavy clay isn't worth it, I run a point-to-point wireless link or fibre and isolate against surge between the buildings.
